G0503031 คนเราม นเร มต นใหม นได part2 Porsche Revolutionizes Thai Automotive Scene at Motor Expo 2024 with Four Electrifying New Models Bangkok, Thailand – December 5, 2567 – Porsche has once again ignited the passion of automotive enthusiasts in Thailand, making a spectacular debut at the 41st Thailand International Motor Expo 2024. The prestigious German marque has unveiled four groundbreaking new models, each representing a significant leap forward in performance, sustainability, and cutting-edge design. This year’s showcase, held at the IMPACT Challenger Halls, solidifies Porsche’s commitment to the Thai market and its growing demand for electrified luxury vehicles. Mr. Tim Walkowiak, Regional Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, expressed immense pride in the brand’s achievements in Thailand this year. “Thailand has truly been an inspiring market for Porsche in 2024,” he stated. “From the local assembly of the first Cayenne S E-Hybrid in the region, directly serving the Thai market, to the announcement of the first Porsche Design Tower in Asia, right here in Bangkok, we have witnessed tremendous growth and enthusiasm. Today, we are thrilled to present the latest generation of our electrified sports cars, including the all-new, 100% electric Macan and the comprehensively redeveloped Taycan, alongside several other iconic models at the Motor Expo 2024, perfectly capping off an exceptional year.” The Porsche Macan 2025 marks a pivotal moment as it debuts in an all-electric format, a first for the brand’s best-selling SUV. Following an exclusive preview at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok, the fully electric Macan makes its public premiere at the Motor Expo, setting a new benchmark for electric SUVs. Porsche’s first all-electric SUV seamlessly blends timeless design, characteristic Porsche performance, extended range, and everyday usability, catering precisely to the desires of discerning SUV customers.
The performance figures of the new electric Macan are nothing short of spectacular. The Macan models can generate up to 265 kW (360 PS) of power, while the top-tier Macan Turbo boasts an impressive 470 kW (639 PS). Torque figures range from a formidable 563 Nm to an astonishing 1,130 Nm. The Macan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, with the Macan Turbo achieving this sprint in a breathtaking 3.3 seconds. Built on Porsche’s newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, the new electric Macan offers DC fast charging capabilities of up to 270 kW. Under ideal conditions, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes. AC charging is also supported at a maximum of 11 kW, convenient for home wall box charging. Visually, the new electric Macan captivates with its signature Porsche lines, flowing into a flat rear window. The redesigned headlights, featuring a four-point daytime running light design and optional matrix LED main modules, create a sleeker, sportier profile. The pronounced, sculpted front wheel arches, a hallmark of Porsche design, lend a powerful stance to both the front and rear. At the rear, the Porsche logo is prominently integrated into a three-dimensional light bar. The all-electric powertrain allows for an extended wheelbase on the new Macan, translating into a more spacious interior and increased luggage capacity, depending on the model and installed options. The rear luggage compartment offers up to 540 liters, complemented by an 84-liter ‘frunk’ (front trunk) for additional storage. Inside, the Macan exudes a distinctly Porsche ambiance. The cabin’s width is accentuated by a seamlessly integrated black panel. Alongside a modern digital interface, including a curved 12.6-inch instrument cluster, elements of analog control remain for the air vents and climate control. An ambient and communicative LED light strip is integrated into the cabin and doors, enhancing both the atmosphere and providing functional alerts. The undisputed star of the show, making its Thai debut, is the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT 2025. This record-breaking electric GT has shattered lap times at three legendary circuits across three continents: Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in North America, the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Europe, and the Shanghai International Circuit in Asia. The Taycan Turbo GT reclaims its throne as the apex predator of electric performance vehicles. The new Taycan Turbo GT features a more powerful and efficient inverter with silicon carbide technology for the rear-axle motor. Both models come standard with 1,034 PS, with an ‘Attack Mode’ temporarily boosting output to over 1,100 PS for extraordinary acceleration and overtakes. Through meticulous lightweight construction, Porsche has managed to reduce the weight of the Taycan Turbo GT by up to 75 kilograms compared to the Taycan Turbo S. The specially tuned Porsche Active Ride suspension is standard on both GT variants, ensuring unparalleled handling dynamics and ride comfort. Beyond the Turbo GT, Porsche is also showcasing other updated Taycan models at the Motor Expo 2024. The entire Taycan range has undergone comprehensive revisions, boasting increased power, extended range, enhanced acceleration, and faster, more stable charging. The design has also been sharpened, with distinct visual cues differentiating the Turbo variants. All Taycan models come with an enhanced list of standard equipment and feature the latest Porsche Driver Experience, offering a fully digital display, extensive customization options, and user-friendly operation. Adding to the electrifying lineup, the updated Porsche 911 Carrera 2025 makes its first appearance in Thailand. This iconic sports car receives significant upgrades, starting with the base 911 Carrera. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine has been re-engineered, benefiting from new turbochargers derived from the 911 GTS and an advanced intercooler system from the 911 Turbo. This results in a power output of 290 kW (394 PS) and 450 Nm of torque for the new 911 Carrera.
These enhancements allow the 911 Carrera Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package), reaching a top speed of 294 km/h, underscoring a notable improvement in both speed and performance. The upgrades extend to the exterior, with refined aerodynamics. The new model features a distinctive front end with larger air intakes and standard LED Matrix headlights incorporating the iconic four-point design. Inside, the 911 retains its classic layout while integrating modern technology. The new Porsche Driver Experience places essential functions within easy reach of the steering wheel, including the drive mode selector, updated assistance system controls, and, for the first time, a start button located to the left of the steering wheel. The Coupé model comes standard with two seats, with an optional 2+2 seating configuration available at no extra cost. The customizable 12.6-inch digital display offers seven distinct display modes, including a classic five-dial layout with a central rev counter, blending retro charm with modern functionality. The new Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 2025 represents the next evolution of the luxury sport sedan, featuring a comprehensive redesign of its exterior and interior, alongside significant advancements in plug-in hybrid technology and innovations. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid displayed at the Motor Expo 2024 integrates a new electric motor into its redesigned eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, delivering impressive performance. The system boasts a combined output of 346 kW (470 PS) and can travel up to 91 kilometers on electric power alone (WLTP), sufficient for most daily urban commutes. Porsche has equipped all Panamera variants with a two-chamber air suspension system featuring two-valve controllable dampers and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. An optional, innovative Porsche Active Ride suspension is available for E-Hybrid models, offering exceptional grip and cornering ability without compromising on high-level comfort. The new Panamera range showcases a streamlined, agile, and modern design. The front is characterized by standard Matrix LED headlights and additional horizontal air intakes compared to its predecessor. At the rear, a continuous light bar and a frameless rear window give the new Panamera a distinctive and commanding presence. The interior and cockpit have been completely redesigned, featuring a 12.6-inch digital display, a new gear selector positioned to the left of the steering wheel, and an optional 10.6-inch passenger display to enhance the overall experience for all occupants. Beyond these four headline models, Porsche’s presence at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2024 is further amplified by a comprehensive display of 13 sports cars, covering its entire model range. Highlights include the 718 Boxster Style Editions and Cayman, the regionally assembled Cayenne S E-Hybrid, and the Manthey Racing-enhanced 911 GT3. The 41st Thailand International Motor Expo 2024 runs from November 29 to December 10, 2024, at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1-3, Muang Thong Thani. Porsche Thailand invites all customers and enthusiasts to experience these exceptional sports cars firsthand at Booth A3.
