G0503027 เร องเก ดเพราะเง แท part2 Porsche Unleashes a New Era of Performance and Electrification at Motor Expo 2024 Bangkok, Thailand – December 5, 2024 – The automotive landscape in Thailand is set to be dramatically reshaped as Porsche, the iconic German marque, unveils a breathtaking lineup of four groundbreaking models at the highly anticipated Motor Expo 2024. This year’s showcase is not merely an exhibition; it’s a bold declaration of Porsche’s unwavering commitment to innovation, performance, and a sustainable future, spearheaded by the Thai debut of the formidable Taycan Turbo GT and the revolutionary all-electric Macan. As an industry veteran with a decade of experience observing and analyzing these trends, I can confidently state that this is a pivotal moment, signaling a significant shift in the premium automotive sector within the Kingdom. Mr. Tim Walkowiak, Regional Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, articulated the profound significance of this year’s event. “The Motor Expo presents a truly special occasion for Porsche, marking a year of remarkable achievements, from the local assembly of the Cayenne S E-Hybrid in the region, with units destined for Thailand, to the announcement of the first Porsche Design Tower in Asia, set to grace the vibrant cityscape of Bangkok. Thailand continues to be a genuinely inspiring market for us. Today, we are thrilled to present the latest generation of our performance sportscars, including the all-new, fully electric Macan, and a comprehensively redeveloped Taycan, alongside other exceptional models that exemplify the Porsche spirit. This is our way of concluding an outstanding year.” Taycan Turbo GT 2025: The Pinnacle of Electric Performance Arrives in Thailand The undisputed star of the show, and making its highly anticipated debut in Thailand, is the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT 2025. This is not just another electric vehicle; it’s a record-shattering hypercar that has cemented its dominance on three continents, conquering legendary circuits like the Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in North America, the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Europe, and the Shanghai International Circuit in Asia. Its arrival at the Motor Expo 2024 signifies the return of electric racing supremacy to the Thai market. The Taycan Turbo GT is engineered with an exceptionally powerful and efficient inverter, utilizing silicon carbide in the rear-axle motor for enhanced performance. Both variants come standard with an astonishing 1,034 horsepower, with the ‘Attack Mode’ offering a temporary surge of up to 120 kW (approximately 1,100 horsepower) for unparalleled acceleration and overtaking prowess. This focus on raw power is matched by a meticulous dedication to weight reduction, with the Taycan Turbo GT being up to 75 kg lighter than its Taycan Turbo S predecessor. The bespoke Porsche Active Ride suspension, specifically tuned for the GT variant, is standard, ensuring an exhilarating yet controlled driving experience.
Beyond the Turbo GT, the entire Taycan range has undergone a significant evolution. Porsche has comprehensively redeveloped the Taycan, boasting increased power output, extended range, sharper acceleration, and faster, more stable charging capabilities. The design has also been refined, with distinct visual cues differentiating the Turbo models even further. Each Taycan model comes equipped with an enhanced standard equipment list and the latest generation of the Porsche Driver Experience, featuring a fully digital display, extensive customization options, and intuitive usability, setting new benchmarks in luxury electric car Thailand and performance EV Thailand. The All-Electric Macan 2025: A New Icon is Born Following its exclusive preview at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok, the all-new, all-electric Porsche Macan 2025 makes its public debut at the Motor Expo 2024. This marks a monumental moment as Porsche introduces its first-ever fully electric compact SUV, a vehicle that masterfully blends timeless Porsche design, signature driving dynamics, extended range, and everyday practicality. It’s engineered to meet and exceed the expectations of discerning SUV buyers seeking an uncompromised electric driving experience. The performance figures speak volumes about the E-Performance capabilities. The Macan can produce up to 265 kW (360 horsepower), while the top-tier Macan Turbo delivers a staggering 470 kW (639 horsepower). Torque figures range from a substantial 563 Nm to an awe-inspiring 1,130 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in a brisk 5.7 seconds for the Macan, and an astonishing 3.3 seconds for the Macan Turbo. This is a significant leap for electric SUV Thailand market. Built on Porsche’s newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, the all-electric Macan supports DC fast charging of up to 270 kW. Under optimal conditions, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes. AC charging at up to 11 kW is also supported, perfect for overnight charging at home. The exterior design is instantly recognizable as a Porsche, characterized by its dynamic silhouette and the flowing rear window. The redesigned front fascia features distinctive four-point LED daytime running lights and optional LED Matrix main headlights, contributing to a sleeker, more sporty profile. The sculpted wheel arches, a hallmark of Porsche design, lend a muscular stance to both the front and rear. At the rear, the prominent “Porsche” lettering is seamlessly integrated into a 3D light strip. The extended wheelbase, a benefit of the all-electric platform, translates into a more spacious interior and increased luggage capacity. Depending on the configuration, the rear cargo area can hold up to 540 liters. Furthermore, a practical ‘frunk’ under the front hood adds an additional 84 liters of storage. Inside, the cabin exudes quintessential Porsche luxury. The minimalist dashboard is complemented by a modern digital interface, including a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster. However, Porsche thoughtfully retains select analogue controls for elements like the air vents and climate control, creating a harmonious blend of digital and tactile experiences. The ambient and communicative LED light strip integrated into the cabin and doors enhances the overall atmosphere. This represents a significant advancement in new Porsche models Thailand and luxury electric vehicles Thailand. The Iconic 911 Carrera 2025: A Legendary Evolution Porsche also introduces the updated Porsche 911 Carrera 2025, a model that needs no introduction, embodying the pinnacle of sports car engineering. The entry-level Carrera variant receives a significant power boost from its improved 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine. Enhanced with turbochargers from the 911 GTS and an advanced intercooler system derived from the 911 Turbo, the new 911 Carrera now produces a potent 290 kW (394 horsepower) and 450 Nm of torque. This power upgrade enables the 911 Carrera Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package), reaching a top speed of 294 km/h. These figures underscore a notable enhancement in both speed and overall performance for this premium sports car Thailand.
The design updates extend across the entire vehicle, with aerodynamic refinements, a new model-specific front fascia featuring larger air intakes, and standard LED Matrix headlights with integrated four-point DRLs. Inside, the 911 retains its iconic design language while embracing modern technology. The new Porsche Driver Experience places essential functions within easy reach of the steering wheel, including the drive mode selector and updated controls for driver assistance systems. Notably, the starter button is now positioned on the left side of the steering wheel, a nod to motorsport heritage. The Coupé model comes standard with two seats, with an optional 2+2 seating configuration available at no extra cost. The customizable 12.6-inch digital display offers seven different view modes, including a classic five-dial layout with a central rev counter, adding a touch of retro charm to the contemporary cabin. The Porsche 911 Thailand price and availability will be key discussion points for enthusiasts. The All-New Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 2025: Redefined Luxury and Efficiency The Porsche Panamera enters a new generation with a comprehensive redesign of its exterior and interior, alongside significant advancements in its plug-in hybrid technology and innovative features. The Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 2025, showcased at the Motor Expo 2024, features a new electric motor integrated into an all-new 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This powertrain delivers an impressive combined output of 346 kW (470 horsepower) and an all-electric range of up to 91 kilometers (WLTP), more than sufficient for daily urban commutes. Standard across all Panamera models is a two-chamber air suspension with two-valve control dampers and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). An optional, innovative Porsche Active Ride suspension is available for E-Hybrid models, offering exceptional handling and cornering performance without compromising on ride comfort. This is a critical development for hybrid car Thailand and luxury sedan Thailand. The new Panamera boasts a sleek, agile, and modern design. The front fascia is characterized by new standard Matrix LED headlights and additional horizontal air intakes. At the rear, the continuous light strip and frameless rear window give the Panamera a distinctive and striking presence. The interior has been meticulously reimagined, featuring a 12.6-inch digital display, a new gear selector to the left of the steering wheel, and an optional 10.6-inch passenger display, all contributing to an elevated experience for occupants. Porsche’s Dominance at Motor Expo 2024 Beyond these four flagship models, Porsche’s presence at the Motor Expo 2024 is further amplified by a curated selection of 13 distinct Porsche sports cars. Highlights include the 718 Boxster Style Editions and Cayman, the regionally assembled Cayenne S E-Hybrid, and the Manthey Racing-tuned 911 GT3, alongside various performance enhancement packages. The 41st Thailand International Motor Expo 2024 runs from November 29th to December 10th, 2024, at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1-3, Muang Thong Thani.
