This highly anticipated showcase, held at IMPACT Challenger Halls, marked a pivotal moment for the iconic German marque, signaling an aggressive push into the future of electrified performance and a continued commitment to its legendary heritage. From the groundbreaking all-electric Macan to the track-devouring Taycan Turbo GT, Porsche demonstrated its unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the automotive world. Mr. Tim Walkowiak, Regional Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, articulated the significance of this year’s exhibition. “This year’s Motor Expo is particularly special for Porsche,” he stated. “It’s a year where we’ve achieved significant milestones, from the first local assembly of the Cayenne S E-Hybrid in the region, shipped directly to Thailand, to announcing the inaugural Porsche Design Tower in Asia, right here in Bangkok. Thailand is truly an inspiring market for us this year. Today, we are thrilled to present our latest generation of electric sports cars, the all-new Macan, a fully electric SUV, and the comprehensively redeveloped Taycan. Alongside these, we are showcasing several other exceptional sports cars at the Motor Expo 2024 to cap off a remarkable year.” The Taycan Turbo GT: A New Benchmark in Electric Speed Headlining the Porsche display is the awe-inspiring Taycan Turbo GT, making its Thailand debut after a sensational performance that saw it shatter lap records at three legendary circuits across three continents: Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in North America, the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Europe, and the Shanghai International Circuit in Asia. This electric hypercar has solidified its position as the undisputed champion of electrified performance. The Taycan Turbo GT is engineered for ultimate speed and efficiency. It boasts a more powerful and efficient inverter, featuring silicon carbide in its rear electric motor for enhanced performance. Both variants deliver a standard 1,034 horsepower, with an additional temporary boost of up to 120 kW (163 PS) available via the ‘Attack Mode’ function, pushing the output beyond 1,100 horsepower for exhilarating overtakes.
Weight optimization has been a key focus, resulting in a remarkable 75 kg reduction compared to the Taycan Turbo S. This meticulous approach to lightweight construction, combined with the standard inclusion of the bespoke Porsche Active Ride suspension system, ensures unparalleled agility and dynamic prowess. The presence of other Taycan variants at the booth further underscores the comprehensive advancements made across the entire Taycan range. Porsche has meticulously refined the Taycan with increased power, extended range, enhanced acceleration, and faster, more stable charging capabilities. The design language has also been sharpened, creating a more distinct visual identity, especially for the Turbo models. Each Taycan model is equipped with an impressive suite of standard features and the latest iteration of the Porsche Driver Experience, offering a fully digital display, extensive customization options, and intuitive user interaction. The new Porsche Taycan 2025 price in Thailand is a topic of keen interest for performance car enthusiasts, reflecting the cutting-edge technology and unparalleled performance offered. The All-Electric Macan: The Future of the Sports SUV Following its exclusive preview at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok, the all-new Macan, now fully electric, makes its public debut at the Motor Expo. This marks a significant moment as Porsche introduces its first all-electric SUV, a vehicle that seamlessly blends timeless design with signature Porsche performance, extended range, and everyday usability. The new Macan is meticulously crafted to meet the diverse needs of Porsche SUV clientele. The E-Performance figures are nothing short of extraordinary. The Macan can generate up to 265 kW (360 PS), while the top-tier Macan Turbo achieves an astounding 470 kW (639 PS). Torque figures range from a substantial 563 Nm to an immense 1,130 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is a brisk 5.7 seconds for the Macan, and a blistering 3.3 seconds for the Macan Turbo. Built on the newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, the electric Macan supports DC charging with an impressive peak output of up to 270 kW. This means a charge from 10 to 80 percent can be accomplished in approximately 21 minutes under optimal conditions. AC charging at up to 11 kW is also available for convenient home charging. The design language is unmistakably Porsche, characterized by its flowing lines that integrate with a flat rear window. The reimagined headlights, featuring four-point daytime running lights and optional Matrix LED main modules, create a sleeker, sportier profile. The pronounced, sculpted front wings flow dynamically towards the rear, exuding a sense of power and presence. At the rear, the distinctive Porsche logo is centrally positioned within a 3D light strip. As an all-electric vehicle, the new Macan boasts an extended wheelbase, translating into a more spacious cabin and increased luggage capacity. Depending on the model and specification, the rear cargo area can hold up to 540 liters, complemented by an 84-liter ‘frunk’ (front trunk). The interior exudes a distinctly Porsche ambiance, with a flowing dashboard design that emphasizes width. Alongside a modern digital interface, including a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster, selective analog controls for air vents and climate functions are retained. An ambient LED light strip integrated into the cabin and doors serves both aesthetic and communicative purposes. The new electric Porsche Macan Thailand launch has generated significant buzz, positioning it as a highly desirable option for eco-conscious luxury SUV buyers. The Refreshed 911 Carrera: An Icon Reimagined Porsche’s legendary 911 receives a significant upgrade, starting with the base Carrera models. The updated 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, now featuring turbochargers from the 911 GTS and an advanced intercooler system from the 911 Turbo, delivers increased power. The new 911 Carrera produces 290 kW (394 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. This enhancement propels the 911 Carrera Coupé from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package), reaching a top speed of 294 km/h, showcasing notable improvements in both acceleration and overall performance.
The design revisions extend throughout the vehicle, with aerodynamic enhancements including a new model-specific front bumper featuring larger air intakes. The standard LED Matrix headlights, incorporating all lighting functions into a sleek, four-point design, further refine the iconic silhouette. Inside, the 911 retains its characteristic layout while seamlessly integrating modern technology. The new Porsche Driver Experience places essential functions within easy reach of the steering wheel, including the drive mode selector and updated controls for driver assistance systems. Notably, the ignition button is now positioned to the left of the steering wheel, a nod to classic motorsport heritage. The Coupé model comes standard with two seats, with an optional 2+2 seating configuration available at no extra cost. The customizable 12.6-inch digital display offers seven different viewing modes, including a classic five-gauge layout with a central rev counter, evoking a sense of nostalgia within the contemporary cockpit. The Porsche 911 Carrera 2025 Thailand release signals an exciting new chapter for this enduring sports car icon. The All-New Panamera 4 E-Hybrid: Redefining Plug-in Hybrid Excellence The Porsche Panamera enters a new generation with a comprehensive overhaul of its exterior and interior design, alongside significant advancements in plug-in hybrid technology and innovative features. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, showcased at the Motor Expo, features a new electric motor integrated into the re-engineered 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This potent combination delivers an impressive system output of 346 kW (470 PS) and an all-electric range of up to 91 kilometers (WLTP), more than sufficient for daily commutes. As standard, all Panamera models are equipped with two-chamber air suspension and two-valve control units for the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). An optional, innovative Porsche Active Ride suspension system is available for E-Hybrid models, offering exceptional handling and cornering performance with a high level of comfort. The new Panamera range presents a dynamic, agile, and modern aesthetic. The front end is characterized by new standard Matrix LED headlights and additional horizontal air vents compared to its predecessor. At the rear, a continuous taillight strip and frameless rear window lend the new Panamera a distinctive and striking presence. The cabin and cockpit have been thoroughly modernized, featuring a 12.6-inch digital display, a new gear selector to the left of the steering wheel, and an optional 10.6-inch passenger display to enhance the overall occupant experience. The new Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid price in Thailand reflects its advanced technology and luxury positioning.
