This year’s showcase, held at the sprawling IMPACT Challenger Halls in Muang Thong Thani, is not just an exhibition but a bold declaration of Porsche’s commitment to the Thai market and its unwavering pursuit of driving excellence, especially in the realm of electric and hybrid powertrains. From the electrifying debut of the all-new, all-electric Macan to the record-shattering Taycan Turbo GT, the meticulously refined new Panamera, and the legendary 911 Carrera, Porsche is setting new benchmarks for performance, sustainability, and luxury. This strategic unveiling underscores Thailand’s growing importance as a key market for premium automotive brands and reinforces Porsche’s dedication to offering cutting-edge technology and unparalleled driving experiences to its discerning clientele. Mr. Tim Walkowiak, Regional Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, articulated the significance of this moment. “This year’s Motor Expo is particularly special for Porsche. We’ve achieved remarkable milestones, from assembling the first Cayenne S E-Hybrid in the region and delivering it to Thailand, to announcing the upcoming Porsche Design Tower in Bangkok, the first in Asia. Thailand continues to be an incredibly inspiring market for us. Today, we are thrilled to present our latest generation of electric sports cars, the all-new Macan, and the comprehensively updated Taycan, alongside several other exceptional sports car models at the 2024 Motor Expo. This is the perfect way to conclude an outstanding year.” Taycan Turbo GT 2025: The Pinnacle of Electric Performance The undisputed star of the show, and a momentous first for Thailand, is the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT. Fresh from shattering lap records at three iconic circuits across three continents – Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in North America, the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Europe, and the Shanghai International Circuit in Asia – the Taycan Turbo GT arrives in Thailand as the ultimate embodiment of electric performance. This is not merely a car; it’s a statement of intent, a testament to Porsche’s engineering prowess in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with electric mobility. The Taycan Turbo GT boasts an advanced, more powerful inverter with silicon carbide technology integrated into the rear-axle electric motor. Both models come standard with a staggering 1,034 PS (1,020 hp), but the ‘Attack Mode’ temporarily boosts this to over 1,100 PS (1,080 hp) for extraordinary acceleration and overtaking capabilities. Porsche’s relentless focus on weight reduction measures has shaved off up to 75 kg compared to the Taycan Turbo S, enhancing agility and responsiveness. The standard inclusion of the specifically tuned Porsche Active Ride suspension system ensures a driving experience that is as dynamic as it is composed, regardless of the road or track conditions.
Beyond the Turbo GT, the entire Taycan range on display has undergone significant enhancements. The updated Taycan models now offer increased power, extended range, faster acceleration, and more stable, rapid charging capabilities. Visually, the design has been sharpened, with distinct stylistic cues differentiating the Turbo models even further. Each Taycan model comes equipped with an enhanced standard equipment list and the latest Porsche Driver Experience, featuring a fully digital display, extensive customization options, and intuitive user controls, redefining the modern driver-cockpit. The inclusion of the Taycan Turbo GT 2025 price in Thailand is keenly anticipated by performance enthusiasts. All-New Electric Macan: A New Era of Electrification Following its exclusive preview at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok, the all-new, all-electric Macan makes its public debut at the Motor Expo 2024. This marks a historic moment as Porsche’s first all-electric SUV, a vehicle that perfectly encapsulates timeless design, characteristic Porsche performance, extended driving range, and everyday usability. The new Porsche Macan EV 2025 is engineered to meet and exceed the expectations of SUV customers seeking a blend of sportiness and practicality. The performance figures speak for themselves: the Macan can deliver up to 265 kW (360 PS), while the top-tier Macan Turbo unleashes a formidable 470 kW (639 PS). Torque figures range from 563 Nm to an immense 1,130 Nm. The Macan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, with the Macan Turbo achieving the same sprint in a mere 3.3 seconds. Built on Porsche’s newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, the electric Macan supports DC fast charging of up to 270 kW. Under optimal conditions, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes. AC charging at up to 11 kW is also available, suitable for home wall box charging. The design language of the new electric Macan is unmistakably Porsche, characterized by its dynamic silhouette and a steeply raked rear window. The reinterpreted front-end design, with its four-point daytime running lights integrated into the headlights, creates a sleeker, more athletic look. The sculpted front wings, a hallmark of Porsche design, lend a powerful stance to both the front and rear of the vehicle. The rear features the iconic Porsche logo centrally positioned within a 3D light strip. The extended wheelbase of the all-electric Macan translates into a more spacious interior and increased luggage capacity. Depending on the model and configuration, the rear luggage compartment can hold up to 540 liters. Additionally, a practical ‘frunk’ – a storage compartment under the front hood – offers an additional 84 liters of space. Inside, the Macan exudes a distinctly Porsche ambiance. The spacious cabin is accentuated by a sleek, integrated black panel. Alongside a modern digital interface, including a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster, essential controls for ventilation and climate are still accessible through analog elements, striking a balance between digital innovation and tactile interaction. An LED light strip seamlessly integrated into the cockpit and doors serves both ambient and communicative lighting functions. The Porsche Macan electric price Thailand is a key factor for many potential buyers considering this groundbreaking vehicle. The Iconic 911 Carrera: Enhanced Heritage, Future Forward The legend continues to evolve with the upgraded Porsche 911, and at the forefront is the new 911 Carrera. This iconic sports car now features a newly revised 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine. Benefiting from new turbochargers derived from the 911 GTS and an advanced intercooler system from the 911 Turbo, the new 911 Carrera produces an impressive 290 kW (394 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. This power boost enables the 911 Carrera Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package), reaching a top speed of 294 km/h, showcasing a significant leap in both speed and overall performance. The enhancements extend throughout the vehicle, including optimized aerodynamics with a new model-specific front apron featuring larger air intakes. Standard LED Matrix headlights, integrated into a slim, four-point design, complete the updated aesthetic.
Inside, the 911 retains its characteristic design while seamlessly integrating modern technology. The new Porsche Driver Experience centralizes key functions around the steering wheel, including the drive mode selector, updated controls for assistance systems, and, for the first time, a start button positioned to the left of the steering wheel. The Coupé model comes with 2 seats as standard, with an optional 2+2 seating configuration available at no extra cost. The customizable 12.6-inch digital display offers seven different viewing modes, including a classic five-dial design with a central tachometer, offering a nostalgic nod within the contemporary cabin. The 911 Carrera 2025 represents a perfect fusion of heritage and innovation. All-New Panamera 4 E-Hybrid: Redefined Luxury and Efficiency The Porsche Panamera embarks on a new generation, marked by a comprehensive redesign of its exterior and interior, along with significant advancements in its plug-in hybrid technology and overall innovation. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, showcased at the Motor Expo 2024, features a new electric motor integrated into an all-new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This potent combination delivers impressive performance, with a system output of 346 kW (470 PS). Crucially, it offers an all-electric range of up to 91 kilometers (WLTP), more than sufficient for daily urban commutes. As standard across all variants, Porsche has equipped the new Panamera with a two-chamber air suspension and two-valve technology, alongside the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). An optional, innovative Porsche Active Ride system is available for E-Hybrid models, providing exceptional roadholding and cornering dynamics while maintaining a high level of ride comfort. Every new Panamera model showcases a more dynamic, agile, and modern design. The front end is distinguished by standard Matrix LED headlights and additional horizontal air intakes. At the rear, a continuous light strip and frameless rear window lend the new Panamera a distinctive and striking presence. The interior and cockpit have been thoroughly redesigned, featuring a 12.6-inch digital display, a new gear selector to the left of the steering wheel, and an optional 10.6-inch passenger display to enhance the overall experience for all occupants. The new Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid 2025 reaffirms Porsche’s commitment to luxury grand tourers with advanced sustainable powertrains.
