The All-Electric Macan: A New Dawn for Electric SUVs
Following its exclusive preview at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok, the new all-electric Macan makes its public debut at the Motor Expo. This marks a watershed moment for Porsche as it introduces its first-ever all-electric compact SUV, seamlessly blending timeless Porsche design with its signature performance, extended range, and enhanced everyday usability. The new Macan is engineered to meet and exceed the expectations of Porsche SUV enthusiasts, offering a compelling blend of sportiness and practicality.
The performance figures alone speak volumes about the E-Performance capabilities of the new Macan. The standard Macan can deliver up to 265 kW (360 hp), while the top-tier Macan Turbo reaches an impressive 470 kW (639 hp). Torque figures range from a substantial 563 Nm to a staggering 1,130 Nm. In terms of acceleration, the Macan sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in a brisk 5.7 seconds, with the Macan Turbo achieving this benchmark in a mere 3.3 seconds.
Built on Porsche’s newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the all-electric Macan utilizes an 800-volt electrical system. This enables DC charging at rates of up to 270 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes under optimal conditions. For home charging, AC charging at up to 11 kW is readily available.
The exterior design of the new Macan is instantly recognizable as a Porsche, characterized by its distinctive lines that flow seamlessly into a flattened rear window. The Coupé model comes with two seats as standard, with an optional 2+2 seating configuration available at no extra cost. The customizable 12.6-inch digital instrument display offers seven different display modes, including a classic five-gauge layout with the central tachometer, evoking a sense of heritage within the contemporary cabin. The All-New Panamera 4 E-Hybrid: Electrified Luxury Redefined
The new Panamera enters a new generation, boasting a comprehensively revised exterior and interior design, coupled with advanced plug-in hybrid technology and numerous innovations. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid on display at the Motor Expo features a new electric motor integrated into the redesigned 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission.
