L1003071 ดจบของคนใส าย ไม เหล อแม แต ความไว ใจ! part2 Porsche Thailand: Revolutionizing Performance and Electrification at Motor Expo 2024 The automotive landscape in Thailand is poised for a significant evolution, and Porsche is at the forefront, showcasing a spectacular lineup of four groundbreaking models at the 2024 Thailand International Motor Expo. This year’s event is more than just an auto show; it’s a testament to Porsche’s commitment to innovation, electrification, and delivering unparalleled driving experiences to the discerning Thai market. With a decade of experience navigating the complexities of the premium automotive sector, I can confidently say that the advancements presented by Porsche signal a new era for luxury performance vehicles, especially in the context of Thailand’s growing interest in cutting-edge automotive technology and sustainable mobility. Mr. Tim Walkowiak, Regional Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, articulated the significance of this year’s Motor Expo, highlighting it as a pivotal moment for the brand. Porsche’s journey in the region has been marked by remarkable achievements, including the first assembly of the Cayenne S E-Hybrid in the region, with units now being delivered to Thailand. Furthermore, the impending debut of the Porsche Design Tower in Bangkok underscores the brand’s deep-rooted commitment to the Thai market. Thailand, he noted, has been a truly inspiring market this year, a sentiment echoed by the palpable excitement surrounding the unveiling of Porsche’s latest electrified sportscars – the all-electric Macan and the comprehensively redeveloped Taycan, alongside other exceptional models. The Taycan Turbo GT: Setting New Benchmarks in Electric Performance The undisputed star of the show, and a monumental achievement for electric performance vehicles globally, is the new Taycan Turbo GT. Making its highly anticipated debut in Thailand, this electrified marvel has already etched its name in the annals of automotive history by conquering three legendary racetracks across three continents: Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in North America, the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Europe, and the Shanghai International Circuit in Asia. This accomplishment solidifies the Taycan Turbo GT’s position as the apex predator in the electric hypercar segment. At the heart of the Taycan Turbo GT’s extraordinary performance lies an even more powerful and efficient inverter, featuring silicon carbide components in the rear electric motor. Both variants as standard boast an astonishing 1,034 horsepower. However, for those moments demanding extreme acceleration, the ‘Attack Mode’ can unleash a temporary surge of power exceeding 1,100 horsepower, providing an unparalleled burst of speed for overtakes. Porsche’s meticulous approach to lightweight construction has resulted in a weight reduction of up to 75 kilograms compared to the Taycan Turbo S, further enhancing agility and responsiveness. The chassis, specifically tuned for the GT model, incorporates the Porsche Active Ride suspension system as standard, ensuring a sublime balance of track-focused handling and everyday comfort.
Beyond the Turbo GT, the entire Taycan model line has undergone significant enhancements. The updated Taycan range offers increased power output, extended range, quicker acceleration, and faster, more stable charging capabilities. Visually, the Taycan models have received a sharper, more distinct design language, particularly in the Turbo variants, setting them apart with an even more assertive presence. The standard equipment list across all Taycan models has been enriched, featuring the latest Porsche Driver Experience with a fully digital display, extensive customization options, and an intuitive user interface, embodying the pinnacle of driver-centric design. The Taycan Turbo GT 2025 is not just a car; it’s a statement of intent for the future of high-performance electric vehicles. The All-Electric Macan: A New Dawn for Electric SUVs Following its exclusive preview at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok, the new all-electric Macan makes its public debut at the Motor Expo. This marks a watershed moment for Porsche as it introduces its first-ever all-electric compact SUV, seamlessly blending timeless Porsche design with its signature performance, extended range, and enhanced everyday usability. The new Macan is engineered to meet and exceed the expectations of Porsche SUV enthusiasts, offering a compelling blend of sportiness and practicality. The performance figures alone speak volumes about the E-Performance capabilities of the new Macan. The standard Macan can deliver up to 265 kW (360 hp), while the top-tier Macan Turbo reaches an impressive 470 kW (639 hp). Torque figures range from a substantial 563 Nm to a staggering 1,130 Nm. In terms of acceleration, the Macan sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in a brisk 5.7 seconds, with the Macan Turbo achieving this benchmark in a mere 3.3 seconds. Built on Porsche’s newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the all-electric Macan utilizes an 800-volt electrical system. This enables DC charging at rates of up to 270 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes under optimal conditions. For home charging, AC charging at up to 11 kW is readily available. The exterior design of the new Macan is instantly recognizable as a Porsche, characterized by its distinctive lines that flow seamlessly into a flattened rear window. The redesigned front fascia features a new four-point LED daytime running light signature and optional Matrix LED main headlights, creating a sleeker, more sporting profile. The iconic Porsche pronounced front wings emphasize a powerful stance, complemented by a strong rear design with the Porsche logo elegantly integrated into a 3D light strip. The all-electric powertrain has allowed for an extended wheelbase, translating into increased interior space for occupants and enhanced luggage capacity. Depending on the model and configuration, the rear cargo area can hold up to 540 liters. Additionally, a ‘frunk’ (front trunk) offers a further 84 liters of storage space. Inside, the cabin exudes a distinctly Porsche ambiance. The width of the interior is accentuated by a cohesive black panel design. Alongside a modern digital interface, including a curved 12.6-inch instrument cluster, select analog controls for air vents and climate functions are retained, offering a tactile and intuitive user experience. An ambient and communication light strip integrated into the cabin and doors adds a sophisticated touch. The Macan electric 2025 is set to redefine the electric SUV segment. The Enhanced 911 Carrera: An Icon Reimagined Porsche also unveils the latest iteration of its legendary sports car, the new 911 Carrera, making its first appearance in Thailand. This iconic model receives a significant upgrade, starting with the base Carrera variant. The newly redeveloped 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, now equipped with turbochargers derived from the 911 GTS and an advanced intercooler system from the 911 Turbo, delivers increased power. The new 911 Carrera now produces 290 kW (394 hp) and 450 Nm of torque. This power upgrade translates to exhilarating performance, with the 911 Carrera Coupé accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (or 3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package), and reaching a top speed of 294 km/h. These enhancements underscore a significant leap forward in both speed and overall driving dynamics. The design evolution extends across the entire vehicle, with aerodynamic improvements contributing to its enhanced performance. The distinctive front end features a newly model-specific bumper with larger air intakes, and the standard LED Matrix headlights, with their iconic four-point design, integrate all lighting functions into a sleek, streamlined unit.
Inside, the 911 retains its signature design ethos while seamlessly integrating modern technology. The new Porsche Driver Experience places key functions within easy reach of the steering wheel, including the mode selector, updated controls for driver assistance systems, and, for the first time, a start button positioned to the left of the steering wheel. The Coupé model comes with two seats as standard, with an optional 2+2 seating configuration available at no extra cost. The customizable 12.6-inch digital instrument display offers seven different display modes, including a classic five-gauge layout with the central tachometer, evoking a sense of heritage within the contemporary cabin. The 911 Carrera 2025 continues its legacy with thrilling performance and refined design. The All-New Panamera 4 E-Hybrid: Electrified Luxury Redefined The new Panamera enters a new generation, boasting a comprehensively revised exterior and interior design, coupled with advanced plug-in hybrid technology and numerous innovations. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid on display at the Motor Expo features a new electric motor integrated into the redesigned 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This powertrain combination delivers impressive performance, with a total system output of 346 kW (470 hp). Furthermore, it offers an all-electric range of up to 91 kilometers (WLTP), more than sufficient for daily urban commutes. As standard across all Panamera models, Porsche has equipped them with a two-chamber air suspension and two-valve control, along with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). An optional, innovative Porsche Active Ride suspension is available for E-Hybrid models, providing exceptional road holding and cornering capabilities without compromising on superior ride comfort. The new Panamera range presents a fluid, agile, and modern aesthetic. The front fascia is characterized by new standard Matrix LED headlights and horizontal air intakes, differentiating it from its predecessor. At the rear, the continuous light strip and frameless rear window lend the new Panamera a distinctive and striking presence. The interior and cockpit have been thoroughly redesigned, featuring a 12.6-inch digital display, a new gear selector to the left of the steering wheel, and an optional 10.6-inch passenger display, all aimed at elevating the overall experience for both driver and occupants. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 2025 exemplifies the evolution of the luxury Gran Turismo.
